Onar Films succumb to evil empire

There's now a Facebook fan group for Bill Barounis' Onar Films video label. Obviously, Facebook is aka the dark side and I try and stay clear of the 6 billion pointless fan groups there but head of the group, Fred Anderson of Ninja Dixon, assures me there'll be info and useful stuff on Onar's releases so I'm giving it a chance, LOL. Also it helped he made me admin and promised me 5 yrs of free beer and movies, not to mention dates with his blonde Swedish girlfriends. Or is most of that more paranoid illusions created by evil personalities in my head. Hmmm. I hope not. Haha. You can check it out here.

Also, check out this interview with Bill on the blog Bad Turkish Movies.

  5. Tombei, I don't know why I'm writing about Turkish stuff when it obviously ought to be you! LOL. I know dick about Turkish cult films. I own all Onar's films and maybe another 20-30 on VHS and DVD. I guess the difference is I write about the (few) films I've bought thru out the last couple of yrs. I would definitely look forward to a blog by you. Do you speak Turkish by the way?

In reg. to your comment #2: Oh, okay. I thought it might have been Bill Barounis of Onar dropping by and commenting on the link to Onar from the FB page.

So you don't have a FB account, LOL. There's no real need to join FB and I don't use it very much either. I certainly don't sign up to all these fan groups that are opned all the time. They're pretty worthless and I was hesitant to join this one but Fred Anderson assured me it would be good. We'll see, haha.

    Thanks for your comments.

  6. Hi there jack j,no you're doin' alright i don't own most of those movies you've got on vhs.Yes i do speak turkish but my english is much better.By the way i'm from australia too.LOL.Basically all i've got is an email which i hardly ever use.The stuff i get off ebay is thru my brother who's got an ebay account.the reason why i'm on here is that you've got an anonymous option that most blogs don't have and also you reply back unlike most bloggers.hehe.

  7. Hey Tombei,

What? So you're here cos I have an anonymous option? Boo-hoo, I thought it was cos you liked my stuff. :-(

Haha, no worries, I'm kidding and I know what you mean. And I'll never understand the many blog authors who don't bother to reply their readers. What's it all for then? Is it all just an egotistical trip to them. Weird. It's not like they're gonna get rich from doing a blog. LOL.

You're in OZ! Cool! I stayed in Melbourne on and off from '91-96. I was with an Aussie gf for 10 yrs. Ayman Kole is in Sydney by the way.

About my tapes: If I ever write about rare Turkish stuff that you can't live without just give me a shout and we'll figure something out with some dvdr's. Obviously, I don't copy official DVD like Onar's but 20 yr old video tapes is fine.
