hmmm there's a pattern to this.
This summer we made some new "friends" at our summer house as they had kids in the same age as mine. the kids messed around and I asked the mother where in the US they had lived for the ten years out of Sweden. Pittsburgh she answered. Fucking Cool! I yelled! Zombie capital of the US... she looked at me as if I'd just poked her in the eye with a dogshitty stick... she had no idea what the föck I was talking about.
George Romero, Night, Dawn, Day, Martin... all set in Pittsburgh...
Nope not a single reaction. Should have mentioned the Steelers instead!
Jesus some people huh? No references at all, but I'm sure that she ironically could name the stores in the mall in consecutive order from entrance to exit.
