That thar lovable diabolical KILINK guy!

Here's a fun scene from KILINK: STRIP AND KILL. Kilink was a diabolical bad guy who did what diabolical bad guys usually do: Evil deeds and other bad things. LOL. I must admit I quite like these old films and the cool thing about Kilink is that altho he is bad (like in eeevil baaaad) he was never too bad to not truly love his girlfriend. I guess it's a Turkish thing, his girlfriend was his girlfriend fullstop. However, that didn't mean he couldn't fool around like in this scene (in which, after he's fooled around, he has no further use for the girl and thus chucks her out of the window, haha). The film is on official DVD from Onar.

PS: The English title on the YT video is obviously wrong; it's Kilink, not "Klink".

  1. After viewing this clip I want to rewatch those Kilink movies, sometimes you tend to forget how good they are.

  2. Me too. :D
Have you got other Kilink films than the ones on the Onar DVDs?

  3. nope, i don't have any other kilink movies. I don't think they're lost with all these other lost films having been found. According to those Yilmaz Atadeniz interviews on those Onar discs and elsewhere, the other Kilink movies are cheap and nasty by comparison ??

  6. Thanks. I haven't seen any of them. Btw, I did get hold of FLYING SAUCERS OVER ISTANBUL recently from someone who dl it for me. I haven't watched it yet but I flicked thru the disc and it does seem to contain a fair bit of humour (that'll escape me by cos I don't get the dialogue, LOL). Oh well. I'll watch it anyway at some stage.

  7. Flying Saucers over Istanbul, good to have but comedy sc-fis aren't my cup of tea. Was it a download copy that was made for you or a copy of the bootleg dvd of it

  8. Is there a bootleg DVD of SAUCERS? I asked someone to download it for me. Now I want the Flash Gordon film, LOL.

  9. I think it might just be a dvdr without a cover made by the person/s who found the film to give to others from which the downloads are come from. Notice that the flying saucers flick doesn't have any mtv or other channel logos on it whereas the flash gordon one has.

  10. It's a bit weird with that FLYING SAUCERS film. Where is it from? Usually TV stations these days have onscreen logos and I've never head of a vcd/vhs/dvd release. Could it be off someone's film print?

  12. Yeah I think Flying Saucers is off someone's print too. Maybe a big collector who's got all the lost films. They've started cleaning up the prints for old turkish films but mostly art house and comedy ones. Nothing really that i would want to buy. Hopefully when there's a big enough market for turkish films, all of the surviving films will be remastered to Hd quality. I'm guessing that there's been 7500(this the amount Kunt Tulgar mentioned in one of those Onar films interviews) Turkish films made from the early 1910s til now.
