Here's the cover for the rare Turkish VHS release of the (also) Turkish video nasty CIRKIN DÜNYA. When Miltos of Cinehound forum started selling the film on bootleg DVD he entitled it LAST HOUSE IN ISTANBUL and now this bootleg title is quoted everywhere including the fucken IMDb!! Hahaha. Anyhoo, the film has since then been released on DVD in Germany but unfortunately it only carries the German and Italian dubs. Go figure! Miltos' old bootleg is in Turkish and has English subtitles. Below is the German dubbed trailer. I believe the full version of the subtitled print is on YouTube.

Yeah, the future belongs to Turkey! Haha. No, I don't think there's much of a new interest in the films. Just one guy on Cinehound having found a DVD and me running with a new chance to post a bit about these films. That's all. I have no idea when and if Onar is gonna put out their (his) next film. Bill is being quiet these days.

ReplyDeleteIt was never released in the UK and thus never became an official video nasty. I just used the term as it's got that "video nasty" feel to it.
I enjoyed this one quite a bit! The villains were as sleazy as the ones in Cani arrabbiat. Once again, great post and thanks for the links.
