New promo trailer for CIRIO H. SANTIAGO's last film ROAD RAIDERS!!!
Whoo-weee!!! Hot damn!! The official Roger Corman channel has just uploaded a promo trailer for Cirio H. Santiago's last film; I've been waiting for this for a loooong time!!! It's a post-apocalypse film not less!!! And it looks like great fun I'd say. Too bloody right!!! The original title is ROAD RAIDERS but it seems they've now re-titled it to Water Wars. I have no info on an upcoming DVD but I sure hope they're not gonna keep us waiting for too long!!!
I loved that it features Playboy Playmates, which is old school awesome, BUT a huge chunk of that trailer is footage from Santiago's 1985 film, Wheels of Fire! Not sure what to make of that.
Great find Jack. Like yourself can't wait for this to get a DVD release. Hilariously it is indeed a heavily cut & paste Wheels Of Fire hybrid, and likely not just that movie. The shot of 'Bruno Mattei' falls in the Philippines is a regular co-star in many a Santiago flick. The sheer Fun of his movies though makes this a must see as well. Looking forward to it.

ReplyDeleteActually I'd feel something was terribly WRONG if Santiago didn't reuse footage from an earlier film! LOL.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Paul! I certainly hope they're gonna put out a DVD soon. I wrote to Horizon and asked about it. Let's see if I get a reply.
ReplyDeleteMixing footage from 1985 and 200whenever-that-was is ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteI agree.
