More zombies from Another World

AWE are releasing Andrea Bianchi's Italian masterpiece BURIAL GROUND (Le Notti del Terrore, 1981) in October. The new Danish title is Zombie Nattens Terror. "New" because usually when AWE use Danish titles they're old cinema or video titles. This one is an AWE creation. If you haven't watched the film before then... well... what can I tell you; BURIAL GROUND is kinda on the same level as ZOMBI 3 but not quite as good as HELL OF THE LIVING DEAD!!! As usually with these films from AWE the disc is only going to carry the English dub. I wish they would include the original Italian audio for these films as well! But if nothing else, it's an awesome front cover me thinks. xD

  1. How dare you use the words "Burial ground" and "Not as good as"?!?!?! Blasphemer! Burial ground is the word of GOD!!!

Oh boy, this will be my fifth Burail ground dvd. :)

  2. Haha. Well, at least there are main characters in HELL. AFAIR BURIAL GROUND just has a lot of people die from getting eaten by (extremely poorly made-up) zombies. It's very entertaining. But good? No.

  3. Main characters? Just one pair of tits! The rest are nameless soldiers who look like someone kidnapped them from a garage!
20% of the movie is stockfootage! Bluefaced zombies where every appendage wobbles when something happens to it. I love the Burial ground zombies! They look awesome in their nosespainted black glory!

You know. Really. Comparing these two movies is like comparing two different brands of mint toothpaste. :)

  4. I know. LOL.

Btw, in contradiction to you I only have one BURIAL dvd (a less than perfect one from OZ) and I was wondering if there's a release that sports the Italian audio + English subs?

  5. None with english subs. every englishfriendly release only has the english audio. Which sucks. There is a french release with italian audio and french subs, the same from spain... but nothing in english

  6. Thanks. Too bad. Btw, the only version of ZOMBIE 4 that I have is an old VHS from Holland. I've just learnt that one of the German DVDs actually contain two versions of the film, the export version and the original Italian version. Have you watched them both?
