Ya got change for a fiver?

Very, very happy today!!! I just received "The Hong Kong Filmography 1977-97" which I discovered completely by chance when a seller had it listed (maybe by fault) on Amazon UK at £1.95 (3 dollars US!!). Brand new, not second hand!! On Amazon.com it's listed at $40. Can we get a whoo-woo!!! xD xD xD

  2. Thaaanks! :D

I posted about it on FB and one other happy dude picked it up at the same price but that was it. Only two copies. The postage was twice the price of the book, lol.

  3. Hahaha !!! You certainly did bag a bargain there. I love dirt cheap bargains especially when money is in short supply. Woo Hoo !!!

  4. Haha, yeah! I've had it sitting on my Amazon wish-list for quite a while but it was too expensive so this is certainly very good! I wonder if they listed it at that price by mistake or it were a one day offer or something. In any case, very happy!

  5. About two weeks ago I got the Tron Legacy soundtrack for $1.95 instead of 24.95. It scanned at the cheaper price even though it had a different price tag on it.
Btw just ordered Pete Tombs Turkish version of the Mondo Macabro book off Tulumba for $20.

  6. Very cool, mate!

Did you somehow get confirmation that that really IS a Turkish version of the MM book?

  7. Nope I didn't get any confirmation from anyone about the MM book. It's by P. Tombs and it's on the subject of fantastic cinema from around the world. It dropped from $31 to 20USD and there's a half price on international shipping as well. so i took the plunge even though i'm not a 100% sure.
