The lowdown on Mr Turkish Rambo

Ed Glaser, the gent behind the RAMPAGE (aka Turkish Rambo/Korkusuz) DVD, has just posted an interview they did with Serdar Kebapcilar who played the Turkish Rambo character in RAMPAGE. It's a pretty long and relaxed interview, and it gives a good impression of the guy and how he started out in films and stuff. It's in Turkish with English subs.

  1. This would have been a cool feature on the DVD.

  2. Yeah, but not possible. Ed Glaser says in the intro that it was made AFTER the dvd came out.

  5. I HAVE to see Turkish Star Wars. The original Star Wars trilogy are my all time favorite movies! Not the new shitty once, but the old original trilogy!!

  6. No. It's the same job. But that just makes it even more poor me. Haha.

  7. Me too. I love the old ones as well and because I'm such an old fuck I actually watched them when they premiered originally. I remember walking out of the cinema (in, eh, 1978 I guess) after having watched the first one and saying to my mum: "Wasn't that great". After that I was hooked on sci-fi for a few years, LOL.

I've got the double disk versions that contain the non CGI versions as extras and needless to say that's the ONLY true versions!

  8. That's the Limited edition of the theatrical versions?

I have all three of the limited editions signed by Darth Vader himself.

  10. Cool. So that's the guy who was inside Darth Vader, yeah? I remember the guy who did his voice was also the guy who recorded the logo narration for CNN: "This is CNN". :)

  11. Jupp, that's the true Darth Vader.

James Earl Jones did the voice. And I understand why! They tried it with David Prowse, but he has a very deep British accent. I saw it on the limited editions on the documentary. Very comical. Imagine Darth Vader with a british accent.

    Haha

  12. Peter Cushing had a Britisk accent in "Star Wars" and he was pretty spooky. ;-)

  13. Hehe. I forgot about Cushing.

Just watch it. It's a good doc.

Btw. I saw it on youtube, not the Limited Editions!
